If you have forgotten your password and need to reset it, follow these simple steps.
Step 1: Requesting a temporary password
- Open the My Rous App.
- Navigate to the 'Log in' screen.
- Tap 'Forgot password?'
- You will then be prompted to enter your account email address. Once you've submitted this, a new temporary password will be emailed to you.
Step 2: Using your temporary password
After you receive the temporary password, follow these steps:
- Copy and paste the temporary password from your email into the password field on the Log in screen, using your account email to log in.
- Once you’re logged in, we recommend immediately changing the temporary password. See step 3 and How to change your password article.
Step 3: Changing the temporary password
- Go to the Settings page.
- Select ‘Update my password'
- Enter the temporary password in the ‘Old password’ field, confirm your new password, and save your changes.
If your account is locked
If you're having trouble logging into your account, and your temporary password is not working, your account may have been automatically locked due to too many failed login attempts.
